That’s exactly what our favourite photographer\u00a0Manuel Correia<\/a><\/strong> did with his latest work on Kilimanjaro, inviting us to join him on a journey through his new photography series.<\/strong> We believe that the home should be a space for experiences and bold statements,\u00a0and these stunning images transport us to one of the most amazing places on earth.<\/p>\n

It all began in childhood with the desire to one day, climb \u00a0the highest mountain in Africa. Recently, Manuel Correia decided to make this dream come true and take the route between Tanzania and Kenya.<\/p>\n

The relationship with the porters was an important part of the experience and Manuel’s images convey the huge respect and dignity that they bring to their work. The porters always take the White Mountain route as if it were their first time, and there is a great spirit of camaraderie and friendship amongst them.<\/p>\n

The route to the Uhuru peak took Manuel through five distinct landscapes and ecosystems, starting in the jungle, through the savannah to volcanic and rocky areas. The climax was waiting for him at the top, surrounded by breathtaking glaciers – something that most of us don’t associate with Africa.<\/p>\n
