The twenty-first century is a frantic and stressful place for so many of us \u2013 with a multitude of demands laying heavy on our shoulders, it\u2019s a world away from our ancestral roots where our predecessors lived simple and agrarian lives surrounded by the natural environment.\u00a0 Yet countless studies have determined that as human beings connecting with nature is a prime biological need and one that has been proven to trigger the brain into a relaxed state, easing stress and lowering blood pressure.<\/p>\n
